Meet the team

The JAGA team manage the day to day activities of all aspects of the JAG accreditation programme. You can also read about the JAG clinical team here

The JAG Data and Training (D&T) team is responsible for managing all JAG training activities including JETS, JETS Workforce, and the Bowel Cancer Screening Accreditation (BCSA) programme. The team is also responsible for the management and development of the National Endoscopy Database (NED). The team works with JAG clinical leads focusing on endoscopy training activity and the educational and certification pathways to support it.

The JAG D&T team is part of the Joint Advisory Group on gastrointestinal endoscopy (JAG) team which is responsible for overseeing the accreditation of high-quality endoscopy services. 

Kirsty manages all aspects of JAG training activity including JETS, JETS Workforce, and the Bowel Cancer Screening Accreditation programme. She also oversees management and development of the National Endoscopy Database (NED). She works with our JAG clinical leads focusing on endoscopy training activity and the educational and certification pathways to support it. Prior to working with us Kirsty worked across Local Government, UKHSA and Public Health in a variety of large programmes of work.

Jess is responsible for overseeing JAG training activity including JETS, JETS Workforce, and the Bowel Cancer Screening Accreditation (BCSA) programme. Prior to working with us Jess worked as project manager of the National Hip Fracture Database, part of the Falls and Fragility Fractures Audit Programme at the Royal College of Physicians.

Sarah is a coordinator focusing on the accreditation of individuals through both the BCSA and JETS certification pathways. She is also responsible for the coordination of committee meetings and liaising with pathway leads for various tasks. Prior to joining the accreditation unit, Sarah worked as an administrator in the public sector.

Joe is a coordinator, with particular responsibility for overseeing the accreditation of individual endoscopists via the JETS and BCSA websites. Prior to joining the accreditation unit, Joe worked at Network Rail in their human resources department.

Rachel is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the JETS Workforce programme, including running courses, communications, and liaising with regional academies. Prior to joining the team, Rachel worked on the JAG accreditation team, so she will be a familiar face and name.

Alex is an coordinator responsible for NED and JETS programmes. Prior to the accreditation unit he worked in an administrative role in Spire Healthcare.

Loretta is an administrator responsible for supporting the endoscopy workforce through the JETS Workforce programme, and supporting the JETS programme for trainee certification. She is responsible for overseeing the accreditation of individual endoscopists, administering meetings and training days, whilst providing support to wider projects.

Margaret is an programme administrator for JAG who focuses on supporting projects and the accreditation process for the data and training team and providing admin support for the BCSA and JETS certification pathways. Prior to joining the accreditation unit, Margaret worked in the Canadian public sector as an immigration clerk officer and admin assistant.
